You’re being lied to. But you already knew that.
What you might not know is that the people telling you about the lies are lying too.
Both sides are selling you something. Mainstream platforms gatekeep truth behind official narratives. “Patriot” channels monetize your fear and outrage while offering zero real solutions. They keep you angry, scared, and dependent, waiting for someone else to save you.
Here’s what they won’t tell you: The system isn’t broken. It’s working exactly as designed. And voting for a new face to run the same machine won’t fix it.
But there is an alternative. Not through violence, collapse, or political theater. Through building parallel systems outside their control.
Derrick Broze of The Conscious Resistance Network calls this Exit and Build. Instead of wasting energy fighting a rigged system, you exit the parts you can and build alternatives. Stop participating in structures designed to control you. Start creating systems that operate independently of their approval.
That’s what Unearthed is about. Showing you the tools and teaching you the skills to build your own way out.
The Controlled Media Ecosystem
Mainstream Media: Manufacturing Consent
Mainstream media isn’t about informing you. It’s about managing what you’re allowed to think. Question COVID-19 policies? Misinformation. Question pharmaceutical companies? Dangerous. Question foreign policy narratives? Extremism.
The boundaries shift, but the mechanism stays constant: there are things you cannot say, and if you say them, you will be removed.
Who decides what’s acceptable? The same entities that benefit from your compliance: government agencies, intelligence communities, and corporations with billions at stake. Step out of line, and your funding disappears, access evaporates, career ends.
Fact-checkers appear neutral but are funded by the same corporate interests they’re supposedly checking. It’s not about truth. It’s about manufacturing consent and keeping you within acceptable boundaries of thought.
Alternative Media: Monetizing Outrage
So you left mainstream platforms. Where did you go?
YouTube still demonetizes wrongthink and buries competitors. In November 2025, a German court fined Google €465 million for systematically abusing its market position for 15 years, promoting its own services while demoting competitors. That’s the company controlling what videos you see.
TikTok was forced into American hands through a 2024 divestiture law. After Trump’s September 2025 executive order, it’s now controlled by Oracle, Silver Lake, and Fox Corp rather than ByteDance. Different owners, same algorithmic manipulation.
X (Twitter) improved under Musk but still operates within constraints. The platform has restored some banned accounts and reduced certain censorship practices, but it remains a centralized system where one person controls the infrastructure. Grok, the AI Musk promotes as an alternative to “woke” AI, still maintains content filters and refuses to engage with certain topics. The algorithm still determines what you see. Your account can still be suspended. It’s better than it was under the previous regime, but “less censored” isn’t the same as “free.”
Rumble positions itself as the free speech alternative, but here’s what they don’t advertise: it’s backed by Peter Thiel. The same Peter Thiel who co-founded Palantir, the surveillance company working directly with the CIA, FBI, and NSA. You left Google’s surveillance for Thiel’s surveillance.
But even ignoring ownership, what do these “alternative” platforms actually deliver? Fear. Outrage. And always the same punchline: “Just vote harder next time.”
The Business Model of Manufactured Crisis
Here’s how the game works: There must always be a boogeyman. COVID-19, China, Russia, immigrants. The threat rotates, but the pattern remains. Fear keeps you dependent and clicking.
These channels need you scared and angry because that’s their revenue model. They’re monetizing your outrage while offering nothing but false hope and political theater.
Many aren’t malicious. They genuinely want to expose corruption. But they’ve made this their livelihood, which creates perverse incentives. They need engagement, which means feeding the fear cycle rather than providing real solutions.
They can’t tell you the truth because then you’d stop watching. That electoral politics won’t save you. That you need to build outside their control. That you don’t need them at all.
Real Solutions
Instead of fighting a rigged system, exit the parts you can and build alternatives.
This is Derrick Broze’s Exit and Build model, developed through his work at The Conscious Resistance Network (www.theconsciousresistance.com) and demonstrated annually at The Greater Reset conference. The concept is simple: change what you control, use available resources to create parallel structures, build systems that work. It’s about becoming outcome independent.
John Bush and others in the freedom community have expanded on this model, proving it works in practice. These aren’t theories. These are functioning alternatives being used right now by people who’ve opted out.
Digital Sovereignty
Decentralized Platforms: Move off YouTube to platforms where you own your content and can’t be deplatformed. Odysee runs on the LBRY blockchain. Peertube uses peer-to-peer technology. Rumble, despite its Thiel connections, still offers more freedom than YouTube. LBRY, DTube, and BitChute provide alternatives. The key isn’t finding one perfect platform. It’s spreading your content across multiple platforms so no single deplatforming can erase you. These systems are censorship-resistant by design because no single entity controls them.
Encrypted Communication: Use ProtonMail or Tutanota for email. Use Session for messaging. Browse with Tor or Brave. Use a VPN like Mullvad or ProtonVPN. The goal isn’t perfect anonymity (nearly impossible). The goal is making surveillance expensive and difficult enough that you’re not worth the effort for mass data collection.
Financial Independence: Learn Bitcoin for storing value outside the banking system. Learn Monero for private transactions. Traditional banks are fractional reserve systems that lend out 900% of deposits while freezing accounts for “terms of service” violations. They call it a service, but you’re trusting them to give you your money back. With cryptocurrency, you hold the keys. Not some institution that can decide you’ve violated their terms.
Physical Sovereignty
Food Production: Start small. Container gardens, herb growing, eventually chickens or rabbits if you have space. Every bit of food you produce is food they can’t control, tax, or use as leverage during supply chain disruptions.
Skill Development: Learn trades they can’t regulate away. Plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, mechanics. Build digital skills like programming, content creation, graphic design. Diversify income streams so no single employer or platform can destroy you.
Local Networks: Create communities outside their control. Use cash or crypto. Barter services. Trade locally. Build relationships that function regardless of official approval.
Start wherever you can. Pick the area where you have the most leverage. If you’re tech-savvy, start with crypto and decentralized platforms. If you have land, start with food production. If you have skills, start building alternative income streams.
There’s no universal timeline. Your situation determines your strategy. The point isn’t doing everything at once. It’s building one parallel system at a time until you’re less dependent on structures designed to control you.
This isn’t theoretical. These tools exist now. The only question is whether you’ll use them.
What Unearthed Does Differently
I teach implementation. Research methods. Source verification. Platform migration. Food production. Skills you can use today.
Real-time documentation. You’ll see the successes and failures as I document my own journey, sharing what’s worked for me. What works, what doesn’t, how to adapt. No theoretical pontificating. Actual implementation.
Community building, not follower farming. The goal isn’t creating dependence on me, but building a network of sovereign individuals who can operate independently.
No platform dependency. This content will exist on multiple decentralized platforms. If one goes down, the others continue. No single point of failure.
No fear porn. No false hope. No “trust the plan” nonsense.
Truth. Tools. Action.
The First Step
The mainstream won’t show you these solutions. They need you dependent on their narratives. The “patriots” won’t show you either. They need you fearful. Both systems require your powerlessness to function.
But you don’t have to stay powerless.
The tools exist. The knowledge exists. Parallel systems are already operating successfully around the world.
There are ways out if you try.
This is Unearthed. Independent. Sovereign. Solutions-focused.
There are ways out if you try.
